It's quiet now. But underneath simmers the rage of the Iranian people. The government doesn't realize it but they have undermined themselves and have let slip the dogs of war, the dreams and hopes of true democracy, in the hearts of the Iranian people.
If Ayatollah Khamenei had voided the election, if he had done a full recount, if he had not sided with Ahmadinejad than the opposition would not have gained as much a following as it has. It is only because of the clampdown on the protesters that people around the world are speaking out for the Iranian people.
There has been infighting with the Anonymous group about their involvement with ThePirateBay over providing help for the Iranians. Now they are no longer the only ones involved. NedaNet "War, War, until victory" "Freedom Sucker"
The Governments of Arab nations, China, Cuba, Myanmar (Burma) are terrified by the uprising taking place in Iran and have censored their coverage of it.
They do not understand. It is too late to do anything. The power of the internet is in the ability of free speech and expression and we have overwhelmingly sided with the Iranian people. Politics do not matter here. Human rights and the progression of freedom cannot be silenced, not in this day and age with the information superhighway at our fingertips.
On June 24, Iranian Superstar Andy Madadian went into an LA recording studio with Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and American record producers Don Was and John Shanks to record a musical message of worldwide solidarity with the people of Iran.
This version of the old Ben E. Others that normally would not have sided in with the reformists are joining now.
Tomorrow is the 7th day of Tir, a holiday in Muslim faiths, and there will a great gathering legally allowed. We have not heard the last of these people they are planning, regrouping and trying to figure out who can lead them now that their leaders are in prison being tortured.
There is saying that the Iranians call this, it is the 'calm of the grave,' I think the better worded phrase is that this is the quiet before the storm.
