Updates on Iran (06/15/2009)

I first posted this on my personal journal on June 15, 2009.

I took a look at my flist and noticed that I'm the only one mentioning anything about this...

I'm unsure how I feel about that.

Anyways, The Guardian is reporting that 12 students have been killed. Five were at the Tehran University and reportedly their bodies were buried in a national cemetrary WITHOUT their families being notified.

How sad is that?

Besides Twitter's hashtag #IranElection two other sources are emerging as the go to online for new information Andrew Sullivan of the theatlantic.com and Huff Po's Iran Demostrations page which is being updated as the blogger Nico Pitney is getting new e-mails with links to important information and videos.

Cnn's ireport website is broadcasting the videos on CNN. Unfortunately they are being preempted right now by Larry King Live who is showcasing American Idol. How's MSNBC doing?

FYI, the cyber attacks have begun.

Edit: Forgot to mention pictures, boston.com has pictures of the protests and stuff.
